New Faces:  KAi
KAi announces the appointment of Alistair Coote, Project Manager with overall responsibility for the NDT/Inspection business. Alistair's experience in the North Sea's Oil & Gas industry and more recently in NZ's emerging Oil & Gas fields around New Plymouth will be a fantastic asset to this vital sector of KAs business.

Now based in Sydney with a national scope – Alistair’s team will provide inspection and rope access support for Australian Oil and Gas - both on and offshore, Industrial Food Service Industry, such as dairy, milling etc, Power Generation Companies eg, Hydroelectric schemes, Wind Turbines etc,  Mining and Civil works.

In the coming months KAi will be completing NATA and Lloyds Register accreditations to further enhance our reporting and inspection capabilities.

Liam Francomb has also joined Karabiner, responsible for developing a training services portfolio within the business. Liam has over 17 years experience in rope access, working in the UK and around Europe. More recently, he has worked in Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Korea, attaining his Trainers qualification last year. Liam then went on to train crews from around Asia moving to Australia at Christmas. “We will be developing the rope access and other Constuction safety courses through the year, but are currently focused on gaining IRATA membership to ensure all our courses will be accredited’, Francomb said.

Demand for BMU and Access services in Brisbane and SE Queensland has promoted KAs expansion into the Sunshine State. From March, KA Executive – Steven White will be based in S.E. Queensland.
