Earlier this month, KA assisted Developers "Laing O'Rourke" with their 'Gravity Day' exhibition at Force Access, Homebush. The Scaffold team exhibited the latest gear from both the Altrex aluminium range and the heavier duty steel systems from Layher while the Height Safety crew assisted with Rope Access demonstrations.

'Gravity Day'was mounted to provide the Laing O'Rourke Executive Group,
General and Operations Managers an opportunity to experience the latest elevated work platforms technology. KA demonstrations highlighted scaffold safety features as well as simulations to illustrate how the body reacts to different fall factors and the 'pendulum' effect.

Laing O'Rourke's Matthew Lloyd (OHS Risk Manager, Corporate) was delighted with the exhibition..."feedback has been great, having the opportunity to experience the systems first hand certainly allows the senior management team to maintain a focus on safety and ensures currency of their risk management knowledge".

KAs BMU division have lifted the bar on inspection, recertification and maintenance of height access equipment. To ensure maximum life from your BMU assets, KA recommends the inclusion of crack testing early on as part of your equipment's annual inspection program.

KA carry's out annual load testing and visual inspection services on BMU, crane and hoist equipment and now has a maintenance team on staff to complete any repairs, provide quotes and recommendations.
