Australian Standards require annual recertification your height safety systems (anchor points, life lines, ladders) and at least six monthly for soft Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as harnesses and lanyards. Manufacturer’s specifications should be checked as these may require more regular testing.
Certification demonstrates your access system has been tested and may be used for purpose. records showing the inspection period and re-entry into service is kept.
