A milestone national project that reinforces Karabiner’s position as a leader in high-rise safety and access solutions across Australia.
Karabiner is proud to announce the successful completion of our Rope Access and Height Safety contract for the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. Appointed by Multiplex Constructions, we were responsible for the design, installation, and certification of all external and internal fall protection and rope access systems.
This project marks a significant milestone for Karabiner, aligning us with one of Australia’s most high-profile infrastructure developments. It provided a platform to showcase our capability to deliver complex, large-scale access systems with precision, safety, and efficiency.
National Infrastructure, National Standards
Our team worked closely with both Multiplex and Western Sydney Airport Corporation to ensure that the installed systems met the evolving needs of a dynamic construction site. As the project progressed, we navigated multiple design revisions to improve long-term maintenance access—enhancing safety outcomes for future operations teams.
Seamless Coordination Across Trades
The scope required intensive coordination with numerous trades, managing access logistics and safety integration across different construction phases. Our ability to adapt and respond quickly to site conditions and design modifications was critical to project success.
“This project demonstrates Karabiner’s strength in national delivery and technical excellence in height safety solutions.”
